What's the difference between 'cis by default' and 'agender'?

Probably because you feel no discomfort when people treat you "like a woman." That's what cis by default is.
-
Right. My understanding of 'agender' was that they 'have no felt sense of gender'. Google says 'does not identify as', which I think I've been interpreting as the same?pic.twitter.com/x0q9Ot1ss0

Yeah, that's basically the point. That's what I mean when I saw it's an interim measure while we work on dismantling gender roles entirely. People who've grown up being scolded for not acting like their assigned gender is "supposed" to may reject the gender.

Most people. best I can tell, do have a felt sense of woman-ness or man-ness and it's quite important to them. It sounds like you're probably cis-by-default.
