Nuclear war and AI becoming a threat are still just possibilities at this point. Climate change and antibiotic resistant bacteria are now certainties for us. However, I think climate change will globally pose the greatest overall threat first. So I picked that.

There are lots of people working on solutions to climate change and resistant bacteria. And I have a lot of faith in human driven technological progress. It feel like nuclear war has recently become more likely than it was a 5 years ago.

Even the worst case predictions on climate change don't pose an existential threat to humanity. I don't understand why so many responders are picking that option.

Humanity, as a whole, is more likely to survive bad climate change and disease scenarios than bad nuclear war and AI scenarios. I don't believe my individual risk is distributed the same way.

Surprised to see nuclear war so low. The weapons still exist, always will, and all it takes is a couple crazies who don't understand the concept of MAD to be in power at the same time.

AI as an existential threat isn't remotely a possibility at this point.
