Do you think racism can ever be justified?

There is no such thing as racism. And that is to some extent a linguist point, namely the term is illegitimate. Itvmisrepresents the complexity of the world. It has an insidious affect on thinking and discourse. People are in thrall to the term, and should liberate themselves.

Depends on how you define racism. I won't answer your poll, but I'll say that there are cultural correlations to races, and some aspects of those cultures aren't good.

Racism as in believing you are a member of a superior race entitled to dominate and enslave other races, or racism as in telling an Irish joke?

Depends on the definition. The traditional one meaning prejudice based on the belief a race is inferior, no, never. The one being pushed today of "any action that could be shown to systemically work against a particular group", yes.

I dont know can a prejudice against any genetic diversity that is viewed as inferior to another be justified?

Well, the fact that people are asking you to explain which “definition” of racism you mean, most likely means they feel the answer is yes.

No, racism is based on blanket assumption, and not based on facts or truth. Because of this, racism is never justified.
