I have the robosapiens toy robot and when you touch the sensors on its hands it says "ouch". But this is not pain. I believe that at best AI can mimic emotions. Only living organisms are able to experience them.
do you think it's possible that our brains and bodies could be scanned and uploaded to a sufficiently advanced computer simulation, and those uploaded people would feel real emotions?
I lack the technical knowledge to offer a legitimate answer, but no I don't think is possible. Because the feelings of the uploaded persons would still have to be felt by the computer.
