why do u consider pedophilia a “fetish”? I thought the proper term for a sexual disorder is ‘paraphilia’, while a fetish is something that is outside the realm of social acceptance, but doesn’t hurt anyone. My sister is a child SA therapist, very adamant about this distinction.

A rape fetish is an arousal from rape-related things, which seems fine. Some people with a rape fetish, act on it and hurt people. This is bad. Pedophilia seems broadly in a similar category.

It’s interesting that it seems women rated their kinks on the lower end of the spectrum in terms of how taboo they are to society. It’s strange to me that sounding is more taboo than rape play.
