I first suspected I was faceblind when I was surprised people I'd just met at a party still recognized me after I took my jacket off

That's really interesting! I wonder how easily you recognize actors from previous roles.

I think I'm on the faceblind spectrum, if there is one. The more recurrent a face, the more I recognize it, as with most people. I recognize celebrities pretty easily, but it's become habit to open conversations at parties with 'have we met?'

I once saw a pic of another person and thought it was me because we had the same clothes. I usually can't tell people by face easily, voices and cocks are on spot ;)

I went maybe 22 years thinking Owen Wilson and Matthew McConaughey were the same person until my friends sat me down.

I used to think I was face blind until I realized I was just socially awkward

I have the opposite problem.
I remember faces, not always with names and have to pretend not to know people when I pass them in a street so I don't seem like a creepy stalker.

Prosopagnosia. It sucks ~ people don't understand nor accept¿
"And yet
I've grown accustomed to her looks
Accustomed to her voice
Accustomed to her face."
