A mother of three, a single doctor, a violent criminal, and a minimum-wage-working teenager are trapped in a burning building.
Do you prioritize who you save first, or do you save at random?
(Given it takes no additional time to prioritize)

I'd help the teen first. The Dr. and mother should be more able to help themselves out.

My wife said "random" but I think she was virtue signaling. Given I know this about the four and I may not be able to save all, I'd likely prioritize to at least some extent.

You prioritize the doctor to help with the burns from the other victims. Simple logistics.

Random. You are there to save people not judge how worthy they are to live. You just go in there and try to save them all. A life is a life.
