The SJW mind virus is really scary because it's spreading - and it's spreading because it's evolved to a point where it's become immune the standard antibiotic arguments. Its success is due to its adaption to pressures - empathy and reason - that killed what preceded it.

e.g., I once tried to put myself on the same side of a SJW, thus trying to defeat her 'you are an enemy' defenses. I argued we both meant to do good. But her mindvirus was ready - built into it was the pattern of resistance to identifying with me under any conditions.

I don't mean it like that - very often, all the time, when we disagree with people, we stick in little clauses that make it clear we're still operating from the same side. This is a common habit and helps kill whichever idea is weaker, which is *good*. We want to change minds.
