I think there is a difference between being racist and prejudiced. It is our nature to discriminate, but it is our evolved nature to look past it. I'm 33 now. Never would have guessed being a PoC would be an advantage for freedom of speech in America growing up!

Voted yes, but that could change depending on what baggage you attach to the term beyond the dictionary definition.

Who are these 34 (32%) pieces-of-sh-t who think sometimes racism isn't always bad?

Tell me you've never laughed at a racist joke before

This really needs a definition of "racism", but then so do all arguments about whether someone is racist.

What's the argument for No?
-
Given just about any reasonable definition of the term, one can devise SOME scenario in which it’s justifiable. E.g., lethal global pandemic which is extremely contagious only among people with a genetic marker unique to racial group X - quarantine is racist but necessary.

Depends on how you define racism

Voted no. If racism = discrimination, then I'm racist in regards to my dating preferences and don't consider it bad - I'm also sexist in that way. However, if you include the definition to include prejudice then I would vote yes. People should always be treated as individuals.
