4/ Now to Louis CK’s set, bemoaning youth aren’t rebelling, they’re just talking about what pronouns they want to use. Because UPENDING CENTURIES-OLD GENDER NORMS MAINTAINED BY THE MOST POWERFUL CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS ON EARTH OFTEN ON PAIN OF DEATH isn’t *rebelling* in his mind.

3/ Paul Ryan, whose his singular achievement *in his 20 year career* was blowing a trillion dollar hole in the economy, got the easy ride because he fit a stereotype of “cool” for certain journalists — *and older men*. Confident, square-jawed, serious talk.

2/ That’s funny enough, but now I’m going to loop in Louis CK. So stick around.

1/ On the left is a teenage AOC dancing with her friends as part of a nationwide viral video craze. The Right called this proof she’s a “nitwit”. Next is GOP Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. Who thought this photo was a good idea AT AGE 42. He was considered a policy genius.

We’re 2 weeks into the —if the shutdown continues through next week it will be the longest in US history. This must end. Last night the House voted to reopen the government—the Senate should vote on this legislation immediately.

  13. Gee, for some reason, TSA employees who have been ordered to work without pay are starting to call in sick in mass numbers. That means lots of chaos at airports. Will GOP ever figure out no one will work for free long-term? When the planes are grounded, maybe they will get it.

And seriously, people, if you do not recognize that the outrage here is hypocrisy and designed to distract from the fact that the President has such the govt indefinitely over a racist border wall, wake up.

Hey, I never ask for retweets, but let’s do this for . Who else has no problem with calling the president a motherfucker? See, e.g., dead kids at the border, “grab ‘em by the pussy”, “shithole” countries, selling off federal lands, travel ban, shall I go on?

Ok, I am logging off for the night and saying this: we are not doing enough. We are not doing nearly enough to support and seek justice for black women and girls. The relative silence on my feed tonight is deafening to me.
