I have participated on playtests of the prototypes of the game and then bought the finished product for my 6yo nephew - he loves it
Was the warrior princess left out due to play testing or different reasons? I made a character sheet for her from what I found online. We also found the swordsman has a slight advantage but it pushes tactics from the adults.

I think some characters were removed due to balance issues and also production reasons. Some were added later as addon. But I don't really know. I was just present on several playtests. You would need to asks the authors...
