      Happy 5th birthday #TheForceAwakens The #StarWars reboot is rightly criticised for Rey being a ‘Mary Sue’. The first time she uses a lightsaber she deflects laser bolts, blinded with the blast shield down, then destroys the Death Star with the Force! With no training! 😉

      Think about episode iv.. he gets hit first time in his training by the laser. During his training by a jedi master. Who also tells him what to do to destroy the death star.

      Sorry, I blinked and missed it. Luke’s training in the Force was “Try it again, this time blind to make it harder.” And “Use the Force.” I’d want my money back! Unless of course I didn’t need training after all, because I’m the son of the chosen one...

      I believe some people have natural talent for it... training gives them focus and discipline, but these skills are there, just needing a nudge to unlock!
