U asked for silly, not absurd. Also, yes I like the Pitch Meeting videos and I'm 38. And a lot of people, probably more than just dumb 17 year olds like the videos looking at the comments and likes. Also, it's meant as lighthearted entertainment. All movies have flaws/errors.
But it doesn't point out any errors really.. I don't classify something as being silly just because it's in the genre of fantasy...
I think you took "silly" too serious. The Empire not shooting the escape pod. The empire not scanning the Falcon for lifeforms. Storm Troopers stopping their chase. Chewbacca not getting a medal. The Death Star's weakpoint. It's just nitpicking. You can still love these movies.
Not shooting the pod is the type of oversight that happens every day. A key point of the plot people miss is they are allowed to escape as they place a tracker on the falcon. The only one that stands as a flaw is the not scanning but Han probably has a shielded compartment.
