Even for the NYT opinion page, this piece by @DouthatNYT has a stunningly bad grasp of the issue.

I didn't think this article was so bad. I especially liked that it referenced the Srinivasan which was quite provocative. This read to me like an article that had been written before "incel" started trending in the news. I think Douthat mistakenly added the incel bit
