Hope to God that #TCD don't purposely fail these students, and then have the gall to try to get them to pay the €450.00 - keep the heads up all at #TakeBackTrinity! Disgraceful what is going by #Trinity @tcddublin #MoreOverchargingOfStudentsAndFamilies https://twitter.com/kayosul_/status/974023506341097473 …

their marks are up to the people who run the courses, the TAs, and the external examiners, so I doubt it, otherwise that would be some really terrible unethical and possibly against TCD's own rules

Absolutely, I agree with you. What I'm saying is that I wouldn't be surprised if
@tcddublin tried to. It wouldn't be the first time we would have heard about unethical behaviours.#TakeBackTrinity.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Fair enough, although I would hope that us TAs and the staff would fight tooth and nail against that.

I hope so too. Problem is we have seen an awful lot of
#issues with our colleges in recent times - UL springs to mind when it comes to policies and procedures etc.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

yeah :/ I'm really encouraged by student response though, I'm very impressed. Results happen with direct action.

Yes, I am very encouraged too. I think it's great that the students are doing this. Makes you proud to be a parent of one who might possibly do the same and stand up for what they believe in, in the future.
