IDK why, but in Ireland, no one questions how my name is spelled at Starbucks and they get it right all the time. In Canada, I see 40 different iterations of my name, rarely the accurate one.
Ireland: oh okay Catherine, yeah -spells it right- Canada: hmm okay, Cathrin, Cathrine, Kathryn, Katherine, Kathy, Cath, Cat, Katheryn
