And yes, you can use antibiotic ointment on tattoos, no, it will not damage them. No, I don't know where that weird ass myth started up. Do not use hydrocortisone anti-itch cream though.

This means that in order to keep a new tattoo from getting covered in dog and cat hair while it's still a mass of open wounds, I get to wrap my entire upper arm in plastic wrap. It's not helping the itching.

Why plastic wrap? Moist healing, yo. If I weren't allergic as fuck to adhesives I could use cool stuff like TatooDerm that's breathable. As it is, I use it to secure my plastic wrap.
