My dude, I love video games. But it’s a specific type of person who gets this mad over a progressive left leaning gaming website.
But the idea that promoting diversity is forcing it is a flawed understanding of the situation. Nor is it only said by Polygon.

You want certain things in games, yes? Well so do they, and you all have the right to ask for them. But consider that the majority of video games cater to straight white men, heavily.

It is not wrong to ask for a change, since it is not only straight white men who play video games. I can guarantee that video games will continue to produce games that show straight white men though.

I never said they were the only ones saying it. the problem is that they are trying to tell devs to put for example black people in a game that takes place in an age in an area where there were no black people then for example. Also they call racism on historical accuracy.

Okay, as a historian, I can tell you that black people have been around in ancient and medieval europe as evidenced by archaeology and historical sources. So don't come at me with that shit because it's historically INaccurate.
