I started playing The Witcher 3. I like it, but I honestly do not understand the ridiculous jerking over this game.

Yeah, the map is bigger than Skyrim's...but it's full of unnamed NPCs with canned dialogue towards each other.

I feel incredibly unimmersed in this game. I am enjoying it, but it's not a pinnacle of RPGs as far as I can tell.

Maybe it picks up after the beginning area, but FWIW I think Skyrim and Fallout 4 were more immersive and choice driven even from the start.
