Sometimes I did weird stuff as a kid. It was largely out of a desire to see something happen, rather than not understanding it wasn't right.

I just recall this easter egg hunt I went on as a kid years ago, and I remember hating it because there were 500 other kids

And like 20 easter eggs or something like that to find, and I remember there were prizes given afterwards. I had only found one egg I think.

I was given a prize as a consolation I think, but the woman who gave it to me handed it to me like I was...idek.

I just recall the interacting being incredibly annoying, but since I was like 8, I didn't have the words to tell this woman off.

Anyways, the way that strangers treat kids that aren't their own is often real bad and it pisses me off.

Kids are often aware that you're being rude or w/e. Kids are way smarter than we give them credit for tbh.

I just remembered some bs that happened to me in grade 1, and it could have been avoided through teacher intervention but...

I'm sure lots of teachers are in the know, but when I was a kid lots of shit went on that was real awful and still makes me mad.

So either my teachers were unaware of what was happening, or they WERE aware and chose to do nothing. Both are bad.
