I played as a rogue in all three games, I had no problem with them in DA2 or Inquisition tbh.

in fact, I preferred the changes made to the class.

A rogue that can't sneak and prepare ambushes is like a car that can't drive for me.

Stealth in DAI only holds for 30 seconds and has a 24 second cooldown. Just enough to run at enemies you have already noticed.

sure but that's really all you need, I find. And upgrades can make you stealth immediately after killing an enemy.

Not for me. In DA:O I left my party somewhere sneaked behind the most vulnerable enemy called in the party and started stabbing.

well idk DAO is a different style of game, one that requires being more tactical imo. DAI less so.

There's my problem. DAI tries to be more Skyrim than DA:O but even Skyrim is more sneak-friendly.

yeah but idk I prefer DAI to DAO combat wise, because I am an unstoppable rogue god.
