Interesting observations made about Anglo-Saxon genealogies today.
They all traced back to Woden, and sometimes to Geat (and Seaxanat but not in my sources) until Aethelwulf, father of King Alfred.

At that stage, the original genealogies were kept but extended so that Woden, Geat, etc. were all descendants of Adam.

Interesting how they were not all changed to suit this, as the ASC was altered in several places.
