My great-grandmother was Indigenous, but I have no idea where from. She was subject to such horrible racism that she hid her ID.

I can't find anything out about her father either, but I suspect he was adopted into a white family.

So I don't identify as Indigenous but my great-grandmother and my great-great-grandfather are always in my thoughts.

And I will always 100% support all Indigenous people because it is right, but also for my family that were not able to embrace their culture

Their culture was taken from them and they were forced into whiteness and white society. They were victims of cultural genocide.
