It's called Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China. As you can guess by the name, it takes place in China.

Here's the interesting part, the game will center around a *woman* assassin.

Break out the fireworks and champagne. Ubisoft managed to animate a woman! (can you feel the sarcasm?)

What's interesting to me is how they've (once again) pushed a playable female assassin off to the side.

Aveline's game was released on the Vita then made into a questionable port later & this new assassin, Shao Jun, is a dlc character.

@TheAngryFangirl Adewale was also a DLC character on Black Flag. Ubisoft's view on PoC and women: good enough for DLC, not main protagonist.

@XBlackBlocX They did have a native American protagonist for AC3, Connor Kenway (Ratonhnhaké:ton). The fans hated that game tho.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@TheAngryFangirl Didn't play that one but wasn't he only there for the back half of the game, and his (white Brit) father the starting main?

@XBlackBlocX @TheAngryFangirl you do only play as his father for a little bit, 3/4 of the game is with Connor.
