@missing_chapter if they don't have facial expressions in the anime, then the animation isn't probably that good.

@AdmiralHip That's what I was thinking, but aside from Studio Ghibli, it's a running theme with the anime that's apparently really good.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@AdmiralHip Most recently, Attack on Titan. People have been telling me that it's amazing and I'm ... not exactly floored by it.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@missing_chapter not sure I agree about the animation with that one, but I didn't like the show that much. Too sad imo.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@AdmiralHip It's definitely a downer. I don't know. I like the general animation, though, especially in the action sequences.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@AdmiralHip lingering stills of a blank face with nothing but the eyes moving. That's more what gets me. The almost-freeze-frame stuff.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@AdmiralHip It probably is. It seems a bit unnatural to me, takes me out of the scene. I prefer more constant motion in animation.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
@missing_chapter I think it's meant to mimic live action films where actors do the same thing.
