Notes from transition: ah yes we have reached the part of puberty where sometimes my blood pressure noticeably drops when I stand up. It did this the first time around, too. It is less amusing now that I'm living alone in the woods.

It's kind of interesting that I'm doing it again, though. Like what is the mechanism here. Why did we learn nothing the first time around, body.

I also really want a user's manual for the new body as I continue to shift to having a lot more lean muscle mass and less subcutaneous fat. Like... I can get cold lying still? But as soon as I move I start overheating? Or is this menopause? WHO KNOWS.

Also I seem to be more vulnerable to dehydration than I was before. Unclear if this is endocrine or a side effect of the part where I eat like a trash panda because I'm constantly hungry though.

It seems like "a small order of fries and a 2L bottle of water on a daily basis" may be the best way to combat dehydration and possibly the orthostatic hypotension.

So when I was working out more I found that the best electrolyte replenisher was milk. Chocolate milk if I could get it. Sucks because it’s not the sort of thing you can carry around all day but it always helped to slam some of that after working out.
