There are elements of physical learning that come with certain degrees, which I also understand. But it was a pandemic. I don't want to say that people should have expected that stuff to be curtailed.

At my own institution, the students' union was demanding F2F teaching while TAs (PhD students) would have had to deal with unsafe conditions, antimaskers, no ventilation. The provost was demanding F2F too until the government said otherwise.

So putting up garbage twitter polls about paying $50k to have an online class is nonsense, and I'm going to say that. If they want to critique anyone then they should be going after uni admin that pushed F2F and moving to campus before pivoting last minute.
