Look i know you all have much better taste than me and already hated all of it but I think Falcon and Winter Soldier is the first Marvel show/film I've just fully disliked.

I don't know how I thought that ending might have been salvageable but oh boy they certainly did not

Am I the only person I know who legitimately enjoyed the show, despite its issues? Lol I might be.

I usually do enjoy marvel stuff but the half-baked worldbuilding and lazy West Wing liberally politics of this one really put me off. Also felt like they just fully lost their nerve and backed off having fashy new Captain America be a bad guy at the last minute.

To be fair, Tim Pool is famously thick, I don't think this is really a reflection on the series or anyone who did like it

Well they were always going that way with US Agent tbh. Idk, he isn’t a widely liked character in the comics and he is exactly like how he is in the comics pretty much, except with maybe more characterization.

Oh is he not basically a villain in the comics? That's fairer. Still, last episode it was 'you're god damn right i murdered a guy, just like you trained me to!' and in this one it's like 'actually I'm a good guy and those misguided antifas have to be stopped'

Nope he’s basically just...this dude lol. A shitty Captain America who stans hard for America vs actual Captain America who usually doesn’t actually align with the government.

his history starts out as a villain but he basically becomes...not quite an anti-hero because anti-heroes are bad for other reasons that he isn't but yeah.
