I don’t really think it would be as difficult as they say. But again I doubt this is going to speed anything up. Maybe it will, if it makes it easier for GPs to collect a list, but since they were already partially doing aged based anyway (with HCWs) that still seems bungled.
They have the benefit of more vaccines though, which has worked out well for them. So young people with underlying health conditions got their first shots ages ago now.

So if they can ramp up numbers per day so we can start seeing more people in general getting them, then that’s great. But I’m not overly confident since we were basically already doing it based on age up to this point.

I'm not sure that makes much difference though, since the order is the same. Young people w/ underlying health conditions will still be vaccinated before 'healthy' 60-65 yos under the new plan. Supply problems (if they persist) will cripple either strategy.

I know, I was just saying that because the UK has more supply they are able to quickly get through everyone. I don’t think that changing the schedule does much for our schedule since it was mostly age based anyway.
