You really just wrote a whole thread criticising a Black woman for expressing her frustration about racism, huh? You really just lectured a Black woman about violence against women like it’s not her issue? This thread reeks of racism.

Did you honestly read this tweet, which is clearly a tweet expressing bitter grief about the murder of George Floyd, as ‘laughing’? Or do you simply think white journalists and their obvious white perspectives are beyond reproach?

No I don't. I think a person (who I've known for over ten years) who expresses his shock at police actions at a vigil for a murdered woman, who also expressed his horror at police brutality against the Black community, is allowed to be assumed to be sincere in his pain and upset.

"whatever turns your crank I guess" is where my issue lies. And the subsequent "he's mighty upset by those flowers". It's dismissive.

You spewing white feelings at a Black woman expressing her own feelings about a common trend where white people will be more upset over flowers or animals than the deaths of Black people is shitty and inappropriate. It also assumes that Dr MRO does not care about Sarah Everard.
