Well I think this is the anniversary of when Alex and I went into lockdown, more or less. The university closed on the 12th last year and we had two days basically to scramble to get what we could from our offices back home. It was hard because we just couldn't take everything.

I had just had a very productive week too, and then the university and library closed and I couldn't get any work done for months. The fear of a new virus/illness and all the unknowns combined with not having access to sources for months was so stressful.

I honestly thought it was going to be over by the autumn...but even when things partially reopened I never felt okay going to the library again, not knowing that students were refusing to wear masks and they weren't being enforced that well.
