Might have this scarf finished by next winter. There's a reason this yarn has been stuffed in the back of my stash for a while... (I picked up a bunch of kidsilk haze/trio on sale after it was popular. Then found out why it was on sale. Beautiful and difficult.)

I can, but I spend the entire time going "Why did I buy this? What was I thinking?" (What I was thinking was "It was super discounted in the John Lewis sale".)

I've learned to get better about only buying yarn I can see myself using, but the first couple of sales after I got settled into an office job I went a bit over the top... (Could be worse, it means I've still plenty to knit.)

Yeah same. I have a lot of yarn around that I still haven’t done anything with because of this.

I spent ages doing the "But it's too nice to use..." nonsense a lot of us crafters fall into, eventually made myself get over that. Now it's just a matter of finding things to make - I've got less time now I'm doing wirework all day, but.

Haha yeah I know what you mean. I haven’t knitted in awhile since I’ve been so busy but I got this stuff to be used so I might as well.
