Fair enough Dr J... and I respect those who wish to use other terminologies - will I understand what you are referring to... maybe. But, what I don't respect is scholars, chiming in to your tweets and telling you that the outright use is racist. Because it is not.

Except for all that scholarship from more than a century ago that says that it is.

Read my tweet again and see where "all" fits before you miss the point again.

Dr M... I find your tactics on twitter to fellow scholars bullying and divisive. Despite the fact you have a reasoned argument. I don't like it soplease do not come on here and bully me. I am not the first person to tell you this.

What's your proof that you are being bullied. I asked you a question. Just cause you can't answer it doesn't mean you are being bullied. You realize this tactic is old right?

The way you respond - miss the point - did I? Did I miss your point? How is framing your tweets in this way a good thing? I think you use bullying language.

Matter of fact isn't "bullying." You literally allowed someone to come in and use transphobic language without correcting them and let them insult your colleagues for no reason, so you are hardly in a position to claim you have any moral highground against "bullying."

Classic bullying from you. Blame me for someone elses tweets.

Claims from a white woman that a Black woman is bullying her is a classic example of weaponizing white lady tears. And you should read this:https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/may/08/how-white-women-use-strategic-tears-to-avoid-accountability …
