People who say the field of medieval studies is 'decolonising' - how exactly? Can you give me some specific examples? Examples that don't just rely on mentioning (but clearly not reading or absorbing!) the work of specific POC and other marginalised scholars?

The "International Society of Anglo-Saxonists” reluctantly changed its name to “ISSEME” (pronounced “Is Same”) after driving out most (all?) medievalists of colour. A board member complained that her fellow Germans were treated unfairly after the war so “Anglo-Saxon” shd be kept.
