I don't know what your situation is with regards to citizenship. Maybe you were born with citizenship. For me, it took me over a decade to get naturalized. Over a decade of interviews and standing in lines and paperwork. And that was before GWB made it harder for folks after me.

Yeah there's a lot of sympathizing w/ some wyte terrorist who has dual citizenship who could easily skip out of the US and live comfortably in Canada. Anywho, I have an article due soon and would rather write that than argue over a wyte terrorist's right to have dual citizenship

Had dropped the discussion earlier since I broadly agree, just disagree about tactics and some vaguer future implications thereof. Khadr is an interesting example tho because it was ultimately his Canadian citizenship that helped free him from the Kafkaesque nightmare of Gitmo.

Definitely hope one way or another we see McInness and others like him stand trial. Might help shut up some of the racists here in Canada who *still* yammer on about Khadr and us "letting terrorists into our country". Oh who am I kidding…still, wish they'd face ANY consequences.
