I would hope that you reconsider this tweet, because it honestly reads like you're saying you don't feel bad that he endured some horrific racist nonsense for taking a knee. It's not glorifying a celebrity to feel bad or upset or angry for how he was treated.

I understand if it's not your point but it is important to consider how it looks for non-Black people saying we don't feel bad for Kap because of his class status.

Well, and I can't speak for Kaepernick, but I feel as if his goals was to use his celebrity to draw attention to those in need I'd think the focus on him is not what he wants. I could be wrong... But clearly people read the post differently than I intended. And that's on me

Well I would agree but I think we need to be careful with our language about BLM and him deserving of a job or not because regardless of intent it's not really our place.
