Why are some of the terrorists wearing fur hats? Like fluffy fur hats with the ear flaps.

apparently he's the "Q shaman." Unclear to me if he actually thinks he is a shaman. Plenty of racist white people do call themselves shamans so IDK.

he's got viking tattoos so I think any "shaman" shit is likely from some pagan Viking shit.

it's a long standing issue and has a very long history...it hasn't been taken over, you only need to see antisemites writing about German paganism and Nazi obsession with the "Germanic" past...

I've studied folklore and mythology and specifically done work about modern paganism. I know. It's important to label it explicitly as racist paganism just like when we don't just say christianity when talking about racist christian identity groups

Of course. Just making the point how much of a long history this has. It’s baked even into the academic study of this stuff too. I still encounter Nazis being cited in works on this stuff

It’s wild. I had a professor of Scandavian mythology who got his PhD in Germany. The racism wasn’t really discussed. There is this mysterious gap from mid 1800s through the 1960s. With the exception of discussing Gardner etc.

And of course eliding the racist bits of white was up with various ethnocentric occult and witchcraft stuff. Anyway, such assholes.
