A family member is extremely upset with my mom and myself because we didn’t let her in the house today to use the bathroom. I’m really mad about this because my mom is upset at being called mean, and now she is saying “we should have let them in.”

That person is a jerk. If there are retail spaces open (eg: Walmart, Kroger, cvs) they could plan to use one of their restrooms. You are trying to be safe and they are an exploded glitter packet.

In Canada, most places have closed their washrooms.

Really? Good on them. We can’t even get people to wash their hands after using the restroom on a good day, let alone during any sort of outbreak. Hope y’all are good.

Well...from an accessibility perspective people need a bathroom if I’m honest.

Yeah. I know here there’s a thing where if you sell food/drink you have to have a publicly accessible restroom. At least I’m pretty sure it’s that. (Some law or other about access to facilities in my area)

Public buildings in Canada need to have bathrooms as far as I know.
