Anyone have some good cookie recipes that don’t use nuts and dried fruit? I know I can just leave that stuff out of recipes that use them (unless they are the entire conceit of the cookie) but I just want a solid recipe I don’t have to substitute anything in.

Mix the butter, powder sugar, salt, add cream, then the flour. Let the dough cool. Shape and roll into logs (1.5cm diameter), roll into the caster sugar, then cut in slices (1cm thick) and bake on a tray between 200-220 Celsius about 7-10min.
