Okay so I get containing the spread but the 25th is day 15 (in Canada you count the day you travel) after the 11th so they would then be able to leave quarantine at that point anyway.https://twitter.com/rtenews/status/1341727075821076480 …

Dr Colm Henry said the 14-day isolation advice means that anyone who came to Ireland from England, Scotland or Wales from 11 December onwards should eat Christmas dinner alone in their room. https://www.rte.ie/news/2020/1223/1186155-covid-ireland-latest/ …

I mean tbqh the idea of restricted movements after travel was silly, should be straight quarantine, but with how small flats are it is impossible to isolate from people without going to a hotel.

Yeah, we established early on that if one of us in this house gets it, we both do - our bedroom doors are at right angles, even before you get to how small the flat is. There's no reasonable way to shut anyone off at all.

I mean yeah I have no idea how I’d isolate from my boyfriend or vice versa, it’s a one bedroom flat with one toilet and the living room isn’t comfortable to sleep in tbh.

Yeah - and whoever got the living room here would have the kitchen, and you still have the bathroom in the middle of that hallway.

Exactly, our bathroom is right next to the kitchen and you have to walk right through the living room to get there.
