I have some new followers lately so I just want to say hello! I am an early medieval historian, currently finishing my PhD in kingship. I tweet a lot about bigoted nonsense in my field, particularly racist appropriations.

I also tweet a lot about disability activism and accessibility, as a woman who suffers from chronic pain that has on-and-off limited mobility and several other chronic conditions.

I also have health anxiety and ADHD which I discuss a lot too. Both as my experiences as well as from a pedagogical perspective (ditto with physical disabilities).

As for other things: knitting, amateur birdwatching, and video games are my big hobbies.

In case anyone is curious about the chronic pain and disability stuff: I had an undiagnosed injury that was untreated for several months, I have since had bad joint pain in my hip and sciatica, not to mention also IBS, a thyroid condition, and allergies.

This stuff has all happened within the last 5-10 years and it has really impacted my life and how I move through the world, so I talk a lot about it as I am still figuring out how to manage.

And one last thing: I am a queer bisexual woman who often goes on long rants about biphobia and queer rep, haha.
