I mean, I could pay Trinity a fee to convert my BA to an MA, which he seems to be dimly aware of, but not the fact that it is also possible to get a real masters degree?

Or does he think it doesn't count unless it's padded out by a bunch of unnecessary extra classes they can charge you for and two years worth of unpaid teaching?
