Makes sense. Her racism was pretty evident from the start. She wanted to unmask someone so she chose a white-passing woman with a complicated family history, it was obvious she wanted credit for finding a Jessica Krug type, even if it was bullshit.

A lot of it neglected to understand the specific difficulties with assimilation and such in America, and a lot of it was directly fabricated but in the end, the narrative was so controlled by the other side that no matter what we said, or what my friend said, it didn’t matter.

yes, it was obfuscating and then it turned into DARVO shit. All of this stemmed from the fact that Smew had a friend who had a beef with my friend in question...they didn't know each other. This was all entirely revenge. My friend already had left academia as well.

the point as freezing rain kept mentioning was that it was to destroy her career. And yeah I mean...this essentially wrecked her life. Forced her off twitter too. And when not everyone bowed in obeisance, that really pissed her off.

She keeps telling us that she has given us instructions and that we need to do what she says too. All about control. And I really chafe at that. She keeps saying we could have said nothing, but she was the one who started it and keeps it going.
