I gotta say, I do not enjoy this new eczema that I've developed. I already suffer from one kind (although flare ups are rare), and now this is happening and idk what's causing it. Hand sanitizer? Soap? No idea. Got bad when I arrived at my mom's house though so I think it's soap

because I was using hand sanitizer fine the last few days, in that while it was drying I didn't get any severe itchiness. So there is an ingredient in the soap. Might be the fragrances, although I am not usually sensitive to those.

I usually avoid natural ingredients because I am sensitive to a few things, but colloidal oatmeal and aloe have been okay. I tried a zinc oxide cream last night and it made it worse. No calamine lotion. I have vaseline which helps, a steroid cream but I have already used it twice

twice in one day anyway, so I don't want to use more. Some lotion, which seems to be okay but not great tbh. Cold water helps but I can't stay under a running tap all day.

I'm not able to go out, but I can get someone to deliver something, so if anyone has recommendations for eczema that I can get in Canada I would appreciate it.

My go-to for those kinds of rashes or flare-ups is a hydrocortisone cream. Any pharmacy or grocery store should have it and it isn’t terribly expensive. 0.5% (steroid content, I think) is fine for most things but if it’s persistent, 1% is the good stuff.

Apparently I skipped over the part where you said you tried a steroid cream already. Oops. Is there a reason you don’t want to use more of it?

Says only to use it twice a day, so I am worried about using more.

Ah, gotcha. Does it work much with the two doses? If it does but not for long, maybe the stronger version would do the trick.

I've got the 1% hydrocortisone, and I can't go out to get a prescription for stronger stuff at the moment. It does work, but then when I have a flare up after I've used it there's not much I can do.
