Okay so here’s my take on bakey beans since I’m Canadian (therefore growing up baked beans were the sweet molasses kind with a ham hock). I always thought baked beans were too sweet so I never liked them much. I assumed they were the same in the UK and Ireland until I tried them.

And they were okay. I liked them better than the North American kind but still it feels like...too much. Idk. It’s hard to describe.
