I’ve been housebound and mostly bedbound for over a year now and up until September I was making steady progress. Now I can feel my health (both mental and physical) rapidly declining. Do any chronic illness friends have tips on what to do when you feel a relapse about to happen?

Taking a lot of time for self care is a big one for me, and making sure I have things to help me get through stuff. Whether it’s a game or a show I can binge or snacks I enjoy. Going easy on myself since I know that being angry at a flare up isn’t going to make it better.

I hear that. Being angry at a flare up is so frustrating because you have no energy to release the anger

Yeah exactly. And no outlet for it even if I did have the energy :/
