1) if you are a white person you absolutely said or did some shit in your past. Actually that goes for any privileged person. We are brought up within racist, sexist, ableist, classist structures. They are baked into media and education.

4) It also suggests the existence of people who didn’t say or do bigoted shit in the past. You 100% did. Maybe you didn’t realize it was bad, and you moved on, but refusing to acknowledge it now and putting yourself above those who have held themselves accountable is not okay.
