Because of course.https://twitter.com/CityNewsYEG/status/1308200167212974080 …
My point is that we can’t just consign this to being a small town. This sort of behaviour isn’t like, rural small town minds. Racism is a very serious issue everywhere in Alberta, and the UCP and the police only enable it.

Saying it’s a small town or not all are like it just ignores that actually it is all like it. Very much so.

Well actually the articles do speak on places like Lacombe and surrounding areas being markedly worse than Edmonton, their example. https://edmontonjournal.com/news/canada/red-deer-anti-racism-protest-turns-violent-as-counter-protesters-crash-rally/wcm/401992e0-6fed-41dd-a225-38cb745837fb?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR2kBGJIokjJqhLson7k3DOnMf3aBahNS9jOSLkQCHzsSVKl7DM-feXCOAI#Echobox=1600785533 … I'm not interested in belittling it. I live here. It's known as a smaller commuter town that has been growing. kthxbye

I lived in Calgary for most of my life and I have family living in Red Deer. But like I said, racism (including violence like this) is all over Alberta. Rural and urban. And it’s still a city.
