So many academics, including ECRs it seems, have no real understanding of power dynamics or class consciousness.

Not gonna say that you should read Marx but it’s not that hard to understand that a bunch of employed academics and alt-ac people taking out their grievances with wider issues in academic publishing on grad students is punching down.

Also worth pointing out that if you don’t want to be told off, then don’t come stomping into someone’s mentions being rude and terrible and then continuing to do so.

Absolutely. But no apparently we were attacking the woman who decided to start all this, treating her unfairly. Well, she brought a racist sexist POS into my friend’s mentions calling him a thief and acting like he was committing a serious crime.
