This has been a massive drain on Chris, who needs to get his work done. And anyone coming in here to cape for publishers don't seem to get just how terrible it is to get dogpiled for just trying to survive in academia right now as a PhD.
I don't know Lucy, but putting the burden on precarious people isn't going to get you very far. So once again, if this bothers you so much, feel free to contact universities yourself.

I have. As a precarious scholar, who has been a precarious scholar since 2014 and a PhD student before that, I have spent over a decade doing this. If you would like to join in, please, do.

I have to write my thesis, and I can't wait around for libraries to get every book that they don't have for me, and to change their ebook license to make them available off campus (which apparently they can't do).

Or the publishers can contact the universities. Why not ask Caroline to contact universities to ensure everyone has equal access to all B&B books? Ah yes, I already told her to do that I think yesterday. That didn't go anywhere evidently.
